It is only through the generous support of our donors and sponsors that we are able to make great strides in saving after school sports programs. Your generosity is what allows us to fulfill our core purpose and affect so many lives.
How Funds are Used
What’s even more important than the money we raise is what we do with it. We are extremely careful how we spend the dollars you entrust in our care. As part of this responsibility, we:
- Keep administrative and fundraising expenses at 25 percent
- Spend 75 cents of every dollar raised on mission based programs
Why Donate
After School Sports programs are being cut at every level in every city and town across the United States. It is only a matter of time before all after school sports programs are eliminated completely or require children to pay in order to participate. Private funding remains critical if we are to save these programs. It is only through the generous support of our donors that we are able to make great strides in saving after school sports. Your generosity is what allows us to fulfill our mission and affect so many lives. Active4Youth understands that you have numerous priorities and demands on your resources. We deeply appreciate all gifts regardless of size.
Ways to Donate
1. Giving Cash in the Form of a Check 
One of the simplest ways to donate may be to write a check to Active4Youth.

2. Matching Gifts
Many companies encourage their employees to make charitable contributions by matching their philanthropic support - some even match at an increased rate of $5 for each $1 given. The impact of corporate matching support can be enormous. Ask your employer if it participates in a matching gift program.

3. Designated Giving
An unrestricted gift, because of its flexibility, allows Active4Youth to meet the unpredictable and constantly changing needs of the future. However, many donors prefer their contribution to be designated for a specific purpose. Active4Youth allows designated giving for gifts of at least $500. 4. Corporate Sponsorship To Active4Youth
A corporate partnership is one that is characterized by mutual cooperation and responsibility to the mission of providing after school sports programs throughout our community. We always welcome the opportunity to develop new corporate partnerships. Our team looks for companies with a solid history and strong brand image who would like to make a contribution that is significant and clearly defined to the consumer. Furthermore, our goal is to offer a wide variety of opportunities for people to get involved.
How to become a Corporate Sponsor: Corporate Sponsors provide Active4Youth with an opportunity to reach out to a variety of audiences and to raise funds to support after school sports programs. In addition, the initiatives provide corporate supporters an opportunity to make a positive impact on their community —and involve employees and consumers in the cause. 5. General Donations
Join us and become part of the solution by making a contribution of $25, $50, $100 or whatever you can afford to support our work at Active4Youth. Your donation is vital to our success. See above to find out where the money goes.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is my contribution deductible?
Yes. All contributions to Active4Youth where no goods or services were received are tax deductible to the fullest extent of the law.
Is Active4Youth a nonprofit?
Active4Youth is a Washington nonprofit corporation. The Foundation is a public charity exempt from federal income tax under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Our Federal Employer Tax ID number is 20-2744962.
If I make a donation, how will my money be used?
Approximately 70 cents of every dollar spent by Active4Youth supports its core purpose and mission statement.
What do donors receive for their gifts?
The security in knowing that you have joined others in bringing back after school sports, which will help eradicate childhood obesity and provide safe location for children to partake in healthy after school activities.
What about mailing lists?
If you wish to be added to/removed from a mailing list or have a question about a mailing, please include your full mailing address in your email or correspondence. Without a mailing address, we will not be able to honor your request. Thank you.
